LUCAS COE

GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

Lucas is the founder and current Group Managing Director of Branderica. He is responsible for coordinating marketing strategy and acquiring new business.

After completing a journalism degree from Birmingham City University, he spent two years working at a leading regional PR agency.  

In 2012, Lucas founded his own agency. Since that time, Lucas has built Branderica into one of the UK’s leading independent marketing agencies, servicing world-renowned brands in health and financial services.

KATY COE

GROUP DIRECTOR

Katy is the current Group Director of Branderica. She plays an integral role in supervising business operations and HR, while coordinating agency finances.

Upon completing a law degree from Birmingham City University, she spent two years working for financial services companies, before joining Branderica in 2014.

Since her appointment, Katy has led the development of Branderica’s marketing services. She has also created effective financial management systems, and manages all of Branderica’s supplier relationships.

A BRIEF

AGENCY HISTORY

Branderica (originally PR99) was founded in 2012 by our current Group Managing Director, Lucas Coe.

After working at one of the West Midland’s largest PR agencies, Lucas spotted a gap in the market. Most clients required an agency focused on customer acquisition and retention.

Moreover, brands needed an agency that not only understood digital marketing, but that could create and implement campaigns quickly.

Within the first six months, Lucas secured eight clients in different industries, including dentistry, healthcare and aesthetics.

In 2013, Branderica’s client portfolio grew to 13. Having secured work in the pet and financial services industries, the agency team grew to three.

With social advertising quickly changing the digital marketing landscape, the agency invested resources into understanding Facebook, Twitter and YouTube advertising.

After two successful years in business, 2014 saw the agency focus on acquiring new business. This resulted in the agency winning keystone accounts with some of the world’s leading financial services brands. These new contracts saw Branderica’s annual turnover double in size.

The year 2015 was integral to Branderica’s growth. During this period, senior management refined the agency’s marketing philosophy.

Unlike many marketing agencies, this involved exploring how people think and react to what they see online. It’s this understanding which has proved pivotal in launching effective digital campaigns that produce new customers.

Branderica’s service offerings expanded in 2016. In addition to core digital marketing services, the agency started to offer animated video and videography to its clients.

Branderica’s client portfolio continued to grow in 2017 (in terms of client turnover). The agency secured new contracts with some of the world’s leading Forex and CFD brokers.

The highlight of 2017 was a ‘Gold’ accolade for ‘Marketing Campaign Of The Year’ at the UK’s leading pet industry awards.

Branderica is on track for its most successful year to date. The agency now services eight national and international market leading brands across the financial services, dentistry, health and aesthetics industries.

As always, the agency is determined to keep up with the pace of change in digital marketing. In light of GDPR and Facebook privacy issues, the agency has highlighted the importance of premium content when it comes to establishing meaningful relationships with customers.
